His cheeks are like a bed of spice. Wherein those beds are growths of perfume.

His cheeks are like a bed of spices The parable alludes to that illuminated countenance which no mortal may see and live. No mortal creature can attain satiety¹⁵²He seems to mean that no one could be sufficiently satisfied in order to depart from such a vision. For that reason “No man can see Me and live” [Exod. 33:20]. from that illumination.

Like towers of perfumes. Aromatic plants, growths מִגְדָּלוֹת of spices מֶרְקָחִים. which are compounded with the art of an apothecary.⁴⁵And processed into perfume.
